We find ourselves at a remarkable moment: an intelligence overhang. At everyone’s fingertips lies deep, but jagged, knowledge across domains, creating both unprecedented opportunity and imperative to experiment, act, and share. Organizations must not only recognize this new intelligence landscape but develop sophisticated approaches to access and direct it. Success means building that intuition for these systems’ capabilities and limitations, while thoughtfully integrating this co-intelligence to expand the cognitive boundaries of our teams and organizations.
Rather than incrementally adapting existing processes, at the Pincus Lab, we’re building entirely new approaches centered on human-AI partnerships. Our work explores how organizations can take a maximalist approach to AI integration, recognizing that when everyone has access to the same tools, competitive advantage comes from how boldly and ambitiously you use them.
Our work centers on three powerful questions:
- How do we transform product strategy when we can test multiple approaches simultaneously, prototype in real-time, and gather insights at scale?
- How do we align incentives with organizational learning in generative AI?
- How do we empower every leader to take a maximalist approach to re-imagining their organization’s future?
The Board
A central initiative of our lab is The Board: an AI-powered advisory system that reshapes how organizations tap into expertise and insight. The Board transforms how entrepreneurs and managers access expertise, moving beyond traditional consulting models to create a dynamic, AI-enabled thought partnership.
Drawing on faculty research, alumni experiences, and management theory, The Board doesn’t just answer questions, but helps leaders expand their decision space and see possibilities they might have missed. Whether pressure-testing a product idea, exploring strategic pivots, or reimagining business models, The Board represents part of our vision of accessible expertise, bringing world-class guidance to builders everywhere.
Established through the Pincus Family Fund, the lab serves as a testing ground for bold ideas. We’re building practical approaches to help leaders navigate this transformation—creating examples and insights that push the boundaries of what’s possible.
